Bio

JUDITH RITCHIE is the Director at Government and Industry Affairs – Aerospace, SAE International, Washington DC.She leads the operations of SAE’s aerospace standards activities in the Washington DC office by supporting the identification, development and promotion of aerospace standards, certification programs and cooperative research initiatives. Judith works closely with government and industry stakeholders to support the development of industry standards in new technical areas and specifically supports the committees developing standards on counterfeit parts avoidance. Judith has over 30 years of experience in the Transportation field with expertise in aviation, aerospace and security. Before joining SAE Judith worked at the UK Department for Transport in London. During her government career Judith was the Head of International Aviation Security and Head of International Aviation Relations and Strategy. She was also the First Secretary, Transport Policy at the British Embassy in Washington DC from 2009-2014.
